![]() ![]() Obviously YMMV, but this setup has been rock-solid for me. I have its dongle plugged into one of the usb port on the monitor, and it works fine as well. The external keyboard I'm using is wireless but not bluetooth. I'm also using a Logitech MX Master 3 (PC version) via bluetooth and have had none of the problems others have reported in the forum. I got 5120x1440 as soon as I plugged the cable in. I didn't have to use it to change the resolution. I had SwitchResX installed to run the MacBook monitor at a higher res (more space), so I don't know if that helps or not. I read that and never tried another one because this one worked. It doesn't matter how good of a USB C cable you have. I remember reading somewhere that you must use THAT cable in order for power, video out, and downstream USB to work. But I'm using the USB C cable that came with the monitor to connect. In fact, that's what I'm using as I type this. Connect your MacBook to the monitor with the Anker adapter and HDMI cable. Moving more pixels is slower than less pixels but a 4K screen shouldn't be a big impact on performance for general use.
